Charlie Nettleton was one of the “founding fathers” of opal mining at Lightning Ridge. You can visit (what might be) his first mineshaft on the Green Car Door Tour and see him life-size in the Spirit of Lightning Ridge bronze statue at the Lightning Ridge Historical Society.
This cap is navy blue with a very traditional gold, orange and white design and the curiositymine.com web address on the back of the cap.
The hat is a low-profile hat with adjustable strap and curved visor.
One size fits most — if you have an enormous melon you’re likely to have the same problem here you have everywhere else you try to buy a hat — sorry.
